Pulse LIVE returns to Newcastle this autumn

Pulse LIVE will return to Newcastle this autumn, on 5 September, for the first time in five years.

The event, worth 4.5 CPD hours, is taking place at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, and is a post-pandemic relaunch of the GP-dedicated conference – featuring expert-led presentations, an exhibition and networking.

There will be a number of clinical topics covered at the event including ECG interpretation, child safeguarding, cancer diagnosis in primary care, dermatology, ophthalmology, and pre-diabetes to name a few.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Riaan Swanepoel, Lead GP for child and adult safeguarding, Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Dr Charlotte Gooding, Menopause Specialist and GP, Breast Team RVI Newcastle Hospitals, Menopause Care Ltd
  • Dr Ian Sweetenham, GP Partner and GP with Special Interest in ENT, Hicks Group Practice and Hinchingbrooke Hospital

Tickets are free for all practising, GMC-registered GPs and GP Trainees. For more information, and to sign up for the event, visit our website.

Most recently, Pulse Live visited Birmingham last month, with a keynote speech from former BMA chair Dr Chaand Nagpaul.
