This module uses the NICE Hypertension guidelines to offer solutions to common dilemmas encountered in primary care, including:
- Using the right equipment to take accurate blood pressure readings
- The updated step approach to antihypertensive drug treatment
- Managing resistant hypertension
- Improving adherence to medications
In this module, you will watch Dr Terry McCormack deliver a presentation covering the above topics. This video was recorded at a Pulse clinical seminar which took place in September 2012.
