GPs are invited to a series of free virtual conferences, each worth five CPD hours, held by Pulse 365 this spring on the topics of oncology, dermatology, rare diseases and women’s health.
The first event, on 24 April, is centred on oncology and dermatology and will include discussions on supporting primary care to deliver earlier diagnoses for bowel cancer, clinical and dermoscopic diagnosis of melanoma, managing impetigo, and optimising eczema care.
Tickets for this event can be found here.
The next virtual conference on 20 May will focus on rare diseases, offering advice on recognising red flags, and the role that GPs have in the diagnosis and management of rare conditions.
Speakers will include: Dr Roger Henderson, senior GP and health broadcaster; Dr Lucy McKay CEO at Medics for Rare Disease; and John Gregor, education lead at the Huntington’s Disease Association.
Tickets for this event can be found here.
And on 17 June, there will be a virtual event on women’s health. The agenda is yet to be confirmed, but topics will include: hormonal shifts and weight gain; perinatal depression awareness; HIV and syphilis with a focus on women.
Tickets for this event can be found here.
All virtual events are open to all UK GMC-registered GPs and are free to attend.
