Gastroenterology and paediatrics experts to speak at free Pulse virtual conference

Experts in gastroenterology and paediatrics will gather for Pulse 365’s virtual conference on 12 March.

The free event, which is worth five CPD hours, is one of Pulse 365’s ‘spotlight conferences’ which give GPs the opportunity to hear from experts in particular clinical areas.

Speakers at the event will include: Professor Ewan Forrest, consultant physician and hepatologist, at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary; Dr Toni Hazell, GP, and medical writer; Dr Ching Lam, consultant gastroenterologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHSFT; Dr Donald MacGregor, consultant paediatrician and senior lecturer in child health; and Dr David Capehorn, GPwER paediatrics, consultant GP at Symphony Healthcare Services, Somerset.

The conference agenda will cover metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD),  measles and vaccine hesitancy, IBS diagnosis and treatment, abdominal pain in childhood, myths and topical tips in paediatrics, and more.

The virtual event is open to all UK GMC-registered GPs and is free to attend.
