Andrew Lansley, the Secretary of State, has written to BMA chair Dr Hamish Meldrum to warn that industrial action from doctors will win ‘no concessions' on pensions and has insisted that the Heads of Agreement on NHS pensions - the document setting out the Government's ‘final offer' – will not be ‘re-opened' for negotiation.
