London event to support PCNs

An event targeted at PCN clinical directors and managers is set to take place on March 19 in London.
Pulse PCN London is a free event at the Novotel London West, Hammersmith, designed to provide support and networking opportunities to attendees as they deliver neighbourhood level healthcare to their communities.
The Pulse PCN London forum topics include community mental health, digital transformation, child health, Pharmacy First and GPs in the ARRS. The day will round off with a panel discussion on the NHS 10-year plan.
Speakers include Dr Kultar Singh Garcha, from Hounslow Family Practice, London, who will be discussing a place based community mental health model and Dr Mayur Vibhuti, chief clinical information officer at NHS Kent and Medway ICB, who will cover digital transformation.
Editor of Pulse PCN and chair of the event, Victoria Vaughan, said: ‘These events are always lively, really positive and particularly important in light of the current emphasis on neighbourhood healthcare.

Other speakers at the event include Dr Mando Watson, consultant paediatrician at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare, Dr Sian Stanley, clinical director, Stort Valley and Villages PCN, Professor Nicola Ranger, General Secretary and Chief Executive, RCN and Dr Waqaar Shah, clinical director for Ophthalmology, South West London ICS.
This year the event is also co-located with Pulse Live London affording further networking opportunities.
