Pulse PCN’s first live event of the year will launch in April and is set to cover PCN workforce development, personalised care and early cancer diagnosis.
Pulse PCN London, taking place on 5 April 2022, at Novotel London West, is designed specifically for PCN leaders and those involved in running their PCN, and will include networking opportunities and an exhibition hall.
The one day, free-to-attend event will see Andi Orlowski, senior advisor for NHS England on Population Health Management, share how the NHS uses population health analytics to address health inequalities.
Pulse PCN Group Editor and chair of the event, Gemma Collins, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to meet your fellow clinical directors and hear great talks put together for primary care networks.”
Also presenting is Dr Kieran Sharrock, the BMA’s GPC England deputy chair, who will cover PCN workforce development.
Professor Omar Usmani, professor of respiratory medicine at Imperial College London, will also discuss the essential knowledge for managing COPD patients in practice.
Topics covered will also include the benefit of a hyperlocal PCN approach to the Covid-19 vaccination programme in low uptake areas, and early cancer diagnosis.
