Pulse PCN has launched a survey to gather the views of clinical directors, PCN GP leads and ARRS staff following the five-year PCN contract.
The State of Primary Care Survey asks how the changes to the NHS during the last five years — the launch of PCNs in 2019 and the shift to integrated care systems in 2022 — have impacted your profession, patients and practices.
It also seeks your views on what a new government’s priorities for the NHS should be ahead of a general election.
Click here to take the survey.
It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. And if you leave your contact details, you will be entered into a prize draw for £200 of John Lewis vouchers.
Pulse PCN editor, Victoria Vaughan, says: ‘Primary care has seen massive changes over the last five years and this survey aims to hear about their impact from those experiencing them first hand.
‘PCNs have challenged the status quo in General Practice and there has been a huge influx of staff through the PCN ARRS scheme.
‘These changes remain controversial with ongoing debates around the funding of general practice and the use of physician associates. Added to that, the demise of the clinical commissioning groups has left some primary care leaders feeling the role of this sector is diminished.
‘We hope this survey provides the opportunity to have your voice heard ahead of any future changes a new government may seek to make.’
We will not quote you by name, or by any identifiable details, without your express consent. The results will be reported in Pulse PCN.
