Conditions that fall under the criteria for shielding
NHS Digital has put together a list of conditions that mean patients should be shielding. However, it is not a definitive list as it does not include conditions that may be added by secondary care or GPs. The annex below contains only a technical list of conditions that match with the chief medical officer’s criteria for shielding. (Both spreadsheets contain the same list, just converted into different code types.)
